While our roots are in the UK, our vision is global. With projects across more than 30 countries and climates as varied as the Middle East and Northern Europe, our living wall system proves that with the right design, vertical greening can thrive anywhere.

Our projects around the world
Every project helps us to weave nature back into the built environment, no matter the location. Our living walls are growing in cities across more than 30 countries.
Armenia
Armenia was an early adopter of living walls, with our largest project to date delivering 1,500 m² across UWC Dilijan College. Yerevan’s Green City Action Plan initiated around 2016/17 signals a wider push for urban greening and resilience, creating a supportive context for nature-based design.

Australia
Urban greening is taking hold across the country as cities look to bring more nature into the built environment. Our Living Wall system has already proven itself in Australia through projects delivered with SMI National, including a hospital installation in Gosford just outside Sydney. Each project shows how vertical greening can thrive in Australia’s varied climates with the right partner and design choices. This aligns with Australia’s growing sustainability agenda, as cities such as Sydney and Melbourne expand green infrastructure policies to address heat, biodiversity, and climate resilience.

Austria
We’ve delivered projects in Austria across private properties and transport, including a bespoke green roof on a cruise ship. Vienna now subsidises façade and roof greening to reduce heat and boost biodiversity, reflecting a strong municipal appetite for vertical greening.

Our living wall at The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain showcases the value of tailored plant selection in desert climates. With Bahrain committing to net zero by 2060 and cutting emissions 30% by 2035, nature-based solutions such as living walls are increasingly valued in both tourism and urban development.

We’ve completed a number of projects in Belgium through our distributor, adapting planting to its temperate maritime climate. Brussels is actively supporting façade and roof greening as part of climate adaptation and biodiversity strategies, making living walls an attractive solution for both public and private developments.

Cyprus
One of our most successful projects in Cyprus was at Neapolis University in Paphos, where students helped design and plant the living wall. This collaborative approach reflects Cyprus’s growing interest in sustainable architecture and campus greening, with universities and municipalities recognising the role of vertical greenery in cooling and enhancing urban spaces.

Denmark
In Denmark we’ve installed signature walls, including two six-metre indoor features and one of our tallest outdoor projects, a five-storey installation. Copenhagen’s climate plan makes façades and green infrastructure central to climate adaptation, driving demand among companies and institutions. Highlight projects include installations at Price Waterhouse Cooper (PwC) and the ECCO Shoes headquarters conference centre.

We’ve delivered living walls across England, integrating vertical greening into corporate, public, and mixed-use buildings. With mandatory Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) now in force and Urban Greening Factor scoring increasingly used in planning, developers and local authorities are embedding greening into designs as standard. A standout example is our award-winning installation at Eden, New Bailey in Salford — the largest living wall in Europe, designed to deliver biodiversity, wellbeing, and climate resilience.

Our work in France includes a showcase installation at the Paris Motor Show for Jaguar Land Rover. Paris’s new PLU bioclimatique embeds greening into planning rules to cool the city and expand vegetated space, strengthening the case for future projects.

In Germany, nature-based design is gaining traction as façades are seen as vital green real estate. Frankfurt has gone further by requiring data centres to incorporate green façades, linking vertical greening directly to regulatory compliance. We’ve delivered several living walls in the city, including projects at FRA10 and FRA7 data centres.

We installed a living wall at the Floriade Expo in Venlo (2015), demonstrating our ability to deliver large-scale vertical greening in an event environment. The Netherlands actively promotes green building and circular construction, including via Green Deals focused on sustainable construction and retrofits. With cities experiencing shrinking green space, municipalities are encouraging vertical gardens and green façades as part of broader greening strategies.

In New Zealand, we’ve delivered living wall installations at leisure, tourism, and transportation hubs, including Christchurch Airport. These installations are especially popular with luxury hotels, spas, and high-end offices, which see them as a premium sustainability feature. The country’s infrastructure planning is increasingly aligned with sustainable development goals, putting more emphasis on climate resilience, ecosystem value, and infrastructure that delivers social as well as environmental benefit.

We’ve delivered multiple projects in Poland through our distributor, including an exterior living wall at a private residence in Warsaw. Recent national moves, such as updating Poland’s green bond framework to support green infrastructure, suggest growing public and institutional appetite for sustainability investments.

We’ve delivered vertical greening to luxury residences in the Algarve region, including San Lourenço Villas near Faro. Portugal is strengthening its sustainability agenda with a Long-Term Strategy for Building Renovation, insisting that existing buildings be upgraded toward energy-neutral standards. Municipal plans such as Lisbon’s ecological structure show increasing emphasis on connectivity and green space integration in urban planning.

In Qatar, sustainable architecture is gathering pace as developers and designers look for long-term solutions in a hot, arid climate. Our living wall at Khalifa Avenue, one of the largest in the world, demonstrates how carefully selected planting and smart irrigation can make vertical greening viable even in desert conditions. Government initiatives under Qatar National Vision 2030 are also pushing for greener, more climate-resilient urban development.

We’ve completed a number of projects in Spain through our partner Segura e Hijos, a family business now entering its third generation with a strong focus on sustainability. While many Spanish cities face dense, concrete-dominated centres, vertical greening offers a way to bring nature back into the urban fabric. With Segura’s new sustainability-focused direction and national policy momentum, living walls are set to play a bigger role in Spain’s architectural landscape.

We created outdoor living walls for a recycling centre in Sweden, trialling a range of plant species over a year to ensure resilience in the country’s harsh seasonal climate. The final selection delivered a sustainable, year-round installation, supported by remote monitoring of irrigation and ongoing training for on-site teams. Sweden’s ambitious climate policy and national strategy for biodiversity and ecosystem services provide strong support for urban greening initiatives.

In Zurich, we delivered over 100 m² of living walls at the World Health Organization HQ, combining vibrant plant palettes with biophilic design to enhance workplace wellbeing. Switzerland’s commitment to sustainable construction, coupled with public demand for healthy, pollution-reducing environments, makes living walls a natural fit for corporate and institutional buildings.

We’ve completed a number of projects in the UAE, including the iconic Museum of the Future in Dubai. With urban greening fast gaining traction, living walls are valued for their ability to improve energy efficiency, reduce noise and filter pollution. The UAE’s Sustainable Development Agenda and Net Zero 2050 strategy place green infrastructure firmly on the agenda, with Dubai pioneering smart landscaping solutions that push the limits of what can thrive in extreme climates.

In the USA we delivered a signature interior living wall for Avolon in New York, creating a striking natural feature within a corporate space. With U.S. cities increasingly adopting green building standards such as LEED and WELL, living walls are gaining recognition as a way to enhance wellbeing, demonstrate sustainability, and elevate workplace design.

In Wales, our installations align with Planning Policy Wales (Edition 12), which requires developments to submit a Green Infrastructure Statement showing biodiversity benefits. Living walls provide a clear way for developers to respond while adding vibrancy to urban centres. A highlight project is Parc Prestatyn Shopping Park, where our living walls transformed the retail environment and contributed to local biodiversity goals.
