The University of Nottingham's brand new RAD building, which is part of the successful Energy Research Accelerator initiative, has been designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent and has included Passivhaus measures to decrease energy requirements. This compliments the Universities broad minded vision to sustainability.
Viritopia used a ranging plant palette to create a living wall that is not only beautiful, but helps to regulate temperatures and aid air purification. This living wall stretches four storeys, allowing students and staff to admire the wall from every level! This addition really adds to the University's innovative design and environmental focus, not to forget its efficiency as a building.
