Sustainable focus
The beautiful building encourages lots of natural light and has been built with sustainability in mind, unlike most other garden centres. It is full of character and has some truly stunning features.
Creating an experience
We were given the brief to install three living walls as part of a planning requirement, and to help create a visual sensation that places the beauty of plants at the heart of the shopping experience.
Evergreen
These living walls heavily feature evergreen species with highlights of colour and texture in order to provide a warm welcome to the store.
Plant palette
A short list of ten plant species were chosen, including Euphorbias, Geraniums, Liriopes, and Spring flowering bulbs such as Galanthus nivalis (to give seasonal interest).
