Golf has been played over the links at Gullane for more than 350 years, and is a previous host venue for the ASI Scottish Open and Ladies Scottish Open. Gullane describes itself as a course which offers “dramatic coastal views and a golfing challenge to savour.”
The new and refurbished clubhouse is where we were contracted to help out. Choosing the open-plan style to create a relaxed modern space, the design included a sun terrace with panoramic views of the course. This is where we designed the living wall, with the purpose of creating a more seamless transition between the natural surroundings and the Clubhouse.
