Project Background
1 New Street Square is a 275,000 sq ft office building, now home to Deloitte, and was built to achieve BREEAM Excellent environmental standard.

Intensive green roofs
On the roof of Deloittes London HQ, there were several terraces that overlooked areas that were inaccessible. Working with the architects, we developed the overlooked terraces into landscaped areas that focused on providing benefits for biodiversity and well-being, using sources of nectar, seasonal interest and colour.
Food for the honeybee
The majority of the plant palette was focused on pollinator planting, and as a result of this you often see honeybees enjoying the different plants, even 70m up in the air!
This building achieved BREEAM Excellent environmental standard.
