Southampton University has recently completed work on a new building on campus.
An absolutely essential part of achieving planning permission and BREEAM points was attention to biodiversity. As part of the successful drive to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating, we installed two living walls on two elevations of student accommodation, incorporating a number of native species and softening the facades of the new building.
